From Brick To Brand

FISHMO: Fuck It Shit Happens Move On

We all have our shit. Sometimes it’s little stuff, and sometimes it feels like a meteor crashing into Earth. But no matter how big or small, these challenges make us stronger when we face them head-on and keep moving. This is the essence of FISHMO, a streetwear brand founded by cousins Pete Sommerfeldt and Sharon Morrison, dedicated to spreading a positive mentality and life philosophy.

Our Story
FISHMO started in 2014 when Pete found a brick stamped with “FISHMO” in Georgetown, DC. The acronym, originally coined by US Special Forces, hit home for Pete, who was dealing with his own mental health struggles from bipolar disorder. Inspired, he launched FISHMO as a lifestyle brand to promote resilience and positivity.

Despite facing significant obstacles, including a period of incarceration due to a manic episode, Pete’s commitment to spreading the FISHMO message never wavered. He and Sharon teamed up, combining their strengths to grow the brand and support others facing similar challenges.

Our Mission
FISHMO is more than a brand - it’s a movement. We’re here to empower one another to confront and overcome life's challenges.

A portion of all proceeds goes to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness.

Join us in embracing the FISHMO philosophy and spreading positivity, one step at a time.
